TAKE ME HOME / Cape Town 2008

A photo series on nostalgia, home, society and a essay on a potential perspective of a child in South Africa. Engaging with a scene injecting an object and becoming the observer waiting for the mood to change, something to happen. A search begins. The own search or the dialog with a child mannequin. A vulnerable puppet in a South African environment? The experiment finds it self in the "real world" at last as an innocent child passing by instantly connects with the scene embracing the puppet. Home at last?
